Delightful and informative cruise
Mary_M, 10-04-2022
Our tour with Deniz was the perfect way to spend a morning. He was very informative, and the Bosphorus cruise was gorgeous and relaxing, after having spent a couple long days touring on foot. It was a treat to view the waterfront Kücüksu Palace gardens (included), and we opted to tour inside as well for a very small additional cost - worth it.
A great 2.5 hours spent cruising the Bosphorus

The boat was huge for a party of 40, so there was lots of space to spread out on the open deck and in the cabin below. This was good for social distancing. The views from the top deck were fantastic and the commentary very detailed and informative. We had two guides doing the commentary in turn. The stop at Kucuksu palace was very welcome and it was a very attractive place. Too bad there wasn’t time to explore the museum inside. This is a good tour, good value for money and I would recommend it.
Loved the cruise

The cruise was fascinating, the tour guide knew his stuff. The Rumeli fortress was also quite a good stop in between.
Bosphorus cruise

Tour picked us up at our hotel on time and then transferred to the boat at the main port Eminonou. Cruise began along the Europe side through the Golden Horn, past the Galata Tower and continued on past palaces and bridges. Our guide Denis was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Unfortunately it began to tsin wuite heavily and we move downstairs under cover. We saw the fortress and turned back along the Asian side stopping at the hunting lodge where our included ticket only allowed us to visit the gardens not the lodge. The trip back to the port was uneventful. The whole tour was run in the advertised time frame and was well run. Would have been better if it had not rained but I would still recommend the tour. A great eay to see Istanbul from the water.
Good to do but nothing spectacular

This was a nice experience and very relaxing with plenty of opportunities to take a photography or make a selfie on an unusual background or with unusual pose (my partner hates photographies so I had to perform for both of us). The tour captures a number of the most important buildings in Istambul including the Rumeli Fortress (important for me) and the guide's historical knowledge and English were impressive (trust me, the English proficiency matters). However, the experience is nothing spectacular, a bit too long and the stop in the hunting palace was nice but unnecessary (good spot for pictures though). We were very hungry by the end of the tour so may be nibbles and little spoilers or coffe/tea would increase the level of satisfaction. It would've been nice if there is an opportunity to buy water on the boat or at least water be included in the price. Bottom line, the tour is nice and worth the money but if you are in Istanbul for short time, there is a wide range of amazing things that the city can offer
